
Commercial Pilot Certificate
The FAA has very stringent rules on what defines receiving compensation. Someone else paying for fuel or exceeding their pro-rata portion of flight expenses could easily cause you to violate what is allowed with private pilot privileges. As a commercial pilot, you will demonstrate to the FAA that you exhibit a mastery of aircraft handling and thereby have new privileges afforded to you to receive payment or compensation.

Private Pilot Certificate & Instrument Rating
Age: 18 YearsTotal Flight Time: 250 Hours Total Time
Pilot-In-Command Time: 100 Hours
Cross Country Time: 50 Hours
Simulated / Actual Instrument Flight Time: 10 Hours
Technologically Advanced Aircraft Time (TAA): 10 Hours

FAA Practical Test (Check-ride)
